Pilot

Nic joined the Tasmanian Helicopters team in December 2020 as a member of our Aircraft Support Crew located at our Latrobe base.

During the period April 2021 to October 2022, Nic became our primary pilot at our sister company Cradle Mountain Helicopters, offering tourism flights in the World Heritage Listed Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park.

In November 2022 Nic gained his sling rating and fire endorsement adding lifting services and fire support activities to his growing list of skills and attributes.

Nic has been utilising these skills for fire support operations, including fire lighting, and water bombing.

Nic is still working towards his dream of becoming an aerial application pilot, however, Nic is thoroughly enjoying his current role.

Nic is a versatile pilot, working between our Latrobe and Cradle Mountain bases.

Nic is a valued member of our team.
